Adaptation from every logged set

Each workout's loads, and the choice to go lighter, come from the sets you actually logged.

TeammatesEngine

For teammates logging workouts in the iOS app. The weights and choices in each workout come from the sets you have actually logged. Lift more than planned and your next loads follow. Take time away and they come down to meet you.

Loads from your last set

When a movement shows up in a workout, its weight starts from your most recent logged set of that movement. If that set was a while ago, the load is reduced for the time away, and the note beside it says so, for example "From your set for this movement 3 weeks ago, reduced for time away." When you log a heavier set than your stored best, your best lift updates as the set saves, and loads that depend on it move with it.

Recent load before you start

Before each of today's workouts, the start screen shows a Recent load card. It reads the working sets you logged over the last few days and shows which parts of today's session are still carrying load. Then you choose: Train as planned, or Take it lighter. The lighter version eases off what is still recovering and keeps your streak.

Your log is the record

Edit a set, remove a movement from a finished workout or review a past day in the logger, and the engine works from the corrected log. What you planned to do sets the starting point. What you logged is what the engine learns from.
